Football matters have been put on hold for obvious reasons, it's been over a month now since Arsenal played a football match. Transfer rumours though, have taken no break as they continue to circulate by day. The latest player in line now to be again linked with a move to Arsenal is PSG's Layvin Kurzawa.

Arsenal attempted signing the defender in January for a fee reported to be in the region of £6m, but ultimately did not push through with the deal, seemingly content to wait six(6) and get the player for free this summer.

️According to a Spanish report, TodoFichajes, Arsenal are "very close" to announcing the signing of PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer. They claim Arsenal have agreed a five-year deal with the Frenchman and are moving closer to announcing the deal, which would see Mikel Arteta secure his first signing for next season, despite the coronavirus pandemic bringing the current campaign to a halt.

The credibility of this report remains to be seen, however free transfers look the way to go for Arsenal this summer, with finances potentially very tight as the club faces a huge financial hit.
